Summer Camp- Memories of winning a trophy! by Priyali

SUMMER CAMP

Today was my first day at summer camp! I had a lot of fun. I had to wake up early. My dad dropped me off at the park and I met my counselor. Her name was Jamie. There were nine people in my group.
The first thing that we was go on a nature hike. The was long. We walked through the entire park. I saw tow squirrels and a rabbit. I was afraid that I  was going to see a snake. It was hot and I got a lot of bug bites.
After the hike, we had arts and crafts. I made a bookmark to take home with me. I colored it blue and used a lot of glitter.
After arts and crafts, we played my favorite game!

My favorite game is hide and seek. We played it in the camping area. Me and my friends enjoyed too much. the next day we were having a cycle race. The race started and I was very fast and someone came and hit my cycle then I fell down. My friends and counselor helped me as I couldn't walk my left leg was badly bruised. They carried me to the camp and rested me on the cot. Immediately they called doctor and my parents were informed too. The doctor examined me and said its a minor muscle sprain and I'll be fine in a two days rest. As our summer camp was for two weeks long, I decided to stay at the camp. During two days I listened music and enjoyed the care and affection of everyone. I recovered speedily.

During two days of rest I missed many activities  like horse riding, trekking and repelling.  Today was football match. The head divided us in two groups and one was boys and other was girls. Our girls team did 6 goals and we won the match. I was delighted very much.  After two days the camp was over. I was very overwhelmed to win the match as I did three goals. I was awarded a trophy. The summer camp was awesome and I'll never forget what all things happened with me.  But I learned not to give up. I returned home  my parents were also happy and I told them everything.

We played hide and seek, throw the ball, cricket and many more games. In cricket we made two teams and one umpire. I was the batsman and my friend was the umpire. We played 'Posham Pa' also. Then we took some rest. I made many friends there. Then we learn some English from our teacher Jamie. Then our teacher Jamie said,"Your today's summer camp is going to till evening. You can eat your snacks or tiffins". Our teacher said,"You can tell some jokes also. I told one funny joke and we laughed very much. I and my friends laughed  HA!HA!HA!HO!HO!HE!HE!Then my father arrived and I went to my home. I said,"Bye - Bye to all my friends". Next day in  the morning I and my family sat in the garden and I told the whole story of my summer camp.

Let's play in team. We will have four members in our team. But Sammy is left. So, she will be referee. Now I will tell the game. The game is that we have to catch maximum insects. That team will win. Now lets start the game. After two hours we returned to the camp with jars of insects. We told Referee that we have caught 20 insects. The other team bought a big vegetable. We all laughed at them HA!HA!HA! So, funny thing your team has bought a vegetable. They shouted on us, "Hey! don't make funny words on our team we are going from here. We all got in our camp to have more fun.

We made two teams and started playing the game.The game was interesting. Our team did three goals and the other one with one. After playing for one hour we were  tired. We washed our hands and had snacks. We enjoyed eating together. After that we went for walk to a pond, it was beautiful. We returned to our camp. The counselor told us that we all are good learners. I was very  tired. I am excited about the next camp.
